Rebekah Rutkoff is a New York–based writer, artist, and teacher. She is the editor  of a book of essays by and about the American avant-garde filmmaker Robert Beavers (Austrian Film Museum/Columbia University Press, 2017). Her work has appeared in publications including Artforum, Bookforum, Fence, Animal Shelter, and World Picture. She has received grants and fellowships from the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, Creative Capital / Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program, and the Onassis Foundation.
